Oyster WinesOysters can be tricky to pair with wines, but Anthony’s wine experts have taken out the guesswork to select these oyster-compatible wines, all in honor of Anthony’s Oyster Festival throughout March! Enjoy Bernard Griffin 2008 Fume Blanc ($6.50 glass/$26.50 bottle); Chateau Ste. Michelle 2008 Pinot Gris ($6.95 glass/$28.50 bottle); Mercer Estates 2008 Sauvignon Blanc ($7.95 glass/$32.00 bottle); and Big Fire 2008 Pinot Gris ($7.95 glass/$32.00 bottle). These selections complement the delicate sea flavor of the oyster, while blending nicely with the oyster’s salinity. Love a wine deal? Head to Anthony’s lounge nightly from 7-10 p.m. for $5, by-the-glass “oyster wines” mentioned above, throughout March! For more information and our locations, please visit www.anthonys.com.
