Woodinville Whiskey Co.
Raise your glasses to crossing state lines! Woodinville Whiskey just signed distribution and brokerage with Southern Wine & Spirits which means availability of its products soon throughout Washington State, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming.
May we recommend a Sazerac to toast? Woodinville Whiskey’s Dave Pickerell knows a thing or two about bourbon, and he also makes a heck of a cocktail. Here's his favorite Headlong White Dog Whiskey cocktail that he developed along with good friend and mixologist John Ueding. It's a new take on the classic Sazerac:
- 2 oz Headlong White Dog Whiskey
- 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
- 2 …dashes Pecheyaud's bitters
- 1 dash Regan's orange bitters (optional)
Stir with ice and strain into a cocktail glass that's been rinsed with Yellow Chartreuse or Absinthe. Garnish with a wide twist of lemon.
16110 Woodinville Redmond Rd. NE, Suite 3, Woodinville, Wash.
Tasting Room Hours: Wednesday – Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.; 425-486-1199; www.woodinvillewhiskeyco.com or Facebook
