Third anniversary brings an opulent dinner Nov. 13
The Heathman Hotel in Kirkland is turning three, and with that milestone comes a Nov. 13 dinner featuring the cuisine of Trellis Executive Chef Brian Scheehser and James Beard Award-winning Philippe Boulot, culinary director of The Heathman Restaurant & Bar at The Heathman Hotel and Executive Chef at the Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, Ore. The five-course affair will bring paired Washington wines from Efestē Winery and the esteemed company of its winemaker, Brennon Leighton. This one-of-a-kind dinner, held at Trellis restaurant at 7:30 p.m. (preceded by a 6:30 p.m. reception), is $120 plus tax and gratuity per person.

Plymouth Housing Group
Plymouth's 7th Annual Key to Hope Luncheon held Oct. 1 was a resounding success, raising more than $410,000 in contributions and sponsorships. Keynote Speaker Lily Tomlin wowed the crowd of nearly 1,200 guests with her funny, acerbic social commentary and comic bits. Funds raised support its Housing Support Program for residents.

Coming March 12, 2011, Plymouth's Seattle Dances! will feature local luminaries, bravely strapping on their dancing shoes in a cause-driven, hot-stepping competition.
